Busy Days!

The past few days have been more than busy. Saturday 11/8 took me to PA to watch an amazing Band comp. My daughter does Cologuard for CHS and they came is 2nd place for their National competition. The did great and she did her solo perfect. It was a long drive 4 1/2 hours up then 4 1/2 hours home. I mean my BFF and me made the trip fun I think we laughed the whole way up and back. We had to it was a long day. We had to stay awake. Waiting at the school for the buses to get there so I could pick up my daughter was fun to we celebrated the kids as they were pulling in with their fire truck escort.

Sunday was my day to get all the fun house stuff done. I know I am not the only mom that tells her kids hey if your laundry isn't out here when I start the wash you can do it yourself. But it never fails that I am doing laundry all day due to the children not bringing me their stuff!!
To say I was tired of driving this weekend is an understatement. So, when I had to take my daughter for the first part of her senior pictures Sunday after doing all the housework that needed to be done, I was ready for bed. But watching her have them done with her boyfriend was great. They are the cutest couple and the way they look at each other melts my heart. Wishing my mom was here to see her grow is something I wish for each and every day. Watching all 3 of them grow without her here has been very hard for me over the past year. 

Well, I think that is enough for today. More to come tomorrow. I promise my life is unpredictable.
